MOVIES - Math goes surreal in the trailer for Terry Gilliam's The Zero Theorem

Christoph Waltz searches for the mathematical meaning of life in the trailer for Terry Gilliam's The Zero Theorem. It's filled with Gilliam's trademark gorgeous, absurd visuals with a healthy dose of corporate dystopia. Update: Video removed from YouTube.

This isn't the official trailer for The Zero Theorem (as you can see from the watermark), but is likely meant to entice distributors. Still, it's nice to see a return to Gilliam's brain and his gigantic visual ideas combined with Waltz's performance as the computer genius given an impossible task. Here is the synopsis from Wikipedia:

Qohen Leth is an eccentric and reclusive computer genius who lives in an Orwellian corporate world and suffers from existential angst. Under the instruction of a shadowy figure known only as "Management", Qohen works to solve the "Zero Theorem" - a mathematical formula which will finally determine whether life has any meaning. Qohen's work in the burnt-out chapel that serves as his home is interrupted by visits from Bainsley, a seductive woman, and Bob, the teenage son of Management.

The YouTuber who uploaded this also uploaded several minutes from the film itself. Click only if you want to be spoiled.
