With that kind of money comes the freedom to invest in all sorts of outlandish projects, and Bezos has taken advantage. His Bezos Expeditions is attempting to recover the Apollo 11 lunar mission's lost engines from the ocean floor and his Blue Origin firm is designing rockets for space exploration.
