.The sewage flows into the wetland, which is filled with sand so that the odors do not leave the surface.
.The wetland filter consists of a large plantation, in this case reed with its roots in the sand, feeding the water.
.The nutrients in the water are absorbed by the reeds, which are caught in their tissues and use them for growth.
.The absorbed nutrients are removed with the change of reed stalk. These residues form an insulating layer.
.The water, now free of nutrients from the wetland flows into the lagoon.
.The size of the wetland: The area required is calculated based on the number of inhabitants of the city that produced the waste, among the following: 1 person = about 5 m2.
