Destilat Architecture updated this woodland residence in Austria with a modern renovation that features cantilevered volumes set at different heights. The home sits on the bank of the Danube river, surrounded by woods and orchards. The renovation was designed to maximize views out over the foothills of the alps, and the project incorporates an exposed concrete pool cantilevered over a supporting stone wall to create a terraced garden.
